Blues is a dance? Absolutely!

If you love blues music, discover blues dance.

Learn basic movement, vintage and contemporary blues moves, dancing to slow blues as well as R&B, how to express music through movement, how to lead and follow, and how to “bluesify” your own moves.

 But, "What is Blues dance?"
Answering that question is as challenging as answering, "What is blues music?" There are many styles within this genre.

Blues dance is a fairly modern term for the different styles of historical dances that developed as blues music was developing in America. Blues dance evolved alongside blues music. Blues also refers to contemporary dances that are danced in the Blues aesthetic. "Slow dance" and "Blues dance" are not synonymous. Making up your own stuff is happily acceptable, but that is "Fusion", not Blues.
